The Archdiocese requires all students attend Religious Education classes one year prior to receiving the Sacraments. If you have a child in first grade they must attend this year of Religious Education prior to receiving the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion in second grade. Also, the Sacrament of Confirmation now begins in 9th grade. So please note, if you have an eighth grader this year planning on receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in 9th grade, they must attend Religious Education starting this Fall.

10-12 grade High School students and College students:  please consider being a catechist this year for Religious Education. Teaching our faith to young children and young adults 1st through 8th grade is a rewarding and fun opportunity. A small stipend is paid as well as the reward of knowing you are contributing to the Catholic Community with your time and commitment. Your commitment would include Wednesday nights, when scheduled, 6:30-8:00pm. Please contact the Religious Education Office at 641-424-0499 if you have any questions or would love to sign up!' We look forward to working with you!
